We can only permit the Murder and Mischief Ghost Tours to brave-hearted ghostie fans aged 10 and above. This tour lasts approximately an hour, and takes you to some of the darkest places in the Gaol. Your kids (and maybe you as well) will leave with goosebumps running up and down your spine.... Learn about this history, the murders, and the ghosts of Old Parramatta Gaol, which was built in 1837, and which, when it shut down in 2011, was the longest running Gaol in Australia! This tour is for kids. Adults must be accompanied by a child! (At the same time, children must be accompanied by an adult 18+... it's only fair ;) ) Kids need to bring a torch, wear closed in shoes, and their paranormal undies! |

The Prison Ghost Hunt is a 2.5 hour event, which covers a little bit of everything. You see the gaol, you hear about the inmates, and you conduct experiments to try and make contact with any spirits who may still be lingering behind these iron gates.
With nearly 200 years of history, this grim and very atmospheric prison, built in 1837 is now one of the oldest surviving jails in the country.

Are you brave enough to take part in a scary overnight ghost hunt for just 20 attendees, followed by a creepy sleepover inside one of Australia’s oldest prisons?
This is a place which was home to tens of thousands of the worst of the worst in the prison system in Australia, over the 174 years it was operational. Once most people are going to bed, you can take the plunge and experience a night of scary ghost hunting inside the formidable and incredibly haunted Parramatta Gaol, then settle down for a terrifying, chilling sleepover until the break of dawn. Parramatta Gaol, an exclusive event to APPI Ghost Hunts & Tours, was built in 1837 and was listed on the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. This creepy old prison comes with a turbulent, historical past, including hundreds of murders, accidental deaths and suicides. What’s included in this ghost hunt:
